Marketing is for the Birds

I wish it were so. If marketing really was for the birds, I could pay for promotions and ads with a handful of seeds, some bread bits, or pretty much anything that can fit in a beak (if these marketing wizards were ibis or gulls, that is).

In reality, marketing is for energetic people who like studying trends, analyzing the psyches of carefully crafted personas, and planning ads to target just the right crowd at just the right time...or for indie authors with more audacity than sense. Guess which group I fall into.

Be that as it may, I'm hard at it, with more than a little help from some wonderful friends who've pioneered and blazed trails I'm just starting to follow.
